5 Super Foods that helped me during my Weight - Loss

👉🏻Right and wrong is something we hear a lot while losing weight. Though I personally feel there is no right and wrong when it comes to food because moderation is the key.

But weight loss or building a healthy lifestyle can definitely be challenging. Here are 5 Super Foods that not only me during my weight loss journey but till date and my best companion when it comes to Healthy Snacking and taking care of those hunger pangs and sugar cravings.

But what are Super Foods?

The term “superfood” as the name suggests are those food that are loaded with nutrients and give you maximum nutritional benefits for minimal calories. They are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Sounds boring is it? But trust in my experience what works for one person might not work for another person and trying different foods to reach that combination that works best for you is the only way to build a healthy lifestyle.

Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit.

My favourite go-to Superfoods that kept me going on my weight-loss journey are these -

🍥Greek yogurt -

Is Greek yogurt different from the regular kind? Greek yogurt is strained to remove most of the whey. With high protein content and less than 10g of sugar per serving greek yoghurt is a great way to keep yourself full for a longer time and lose weight.

🥚Eggs -

Eggs can help you lose weight because of their high protein content, which keeps you full longer and increase your metabolism. Eggs are nutrient dense & filling, mainly because of their high protein content.

🌱Seeds -

Seeds are rich in taste as well as nutrients, which make them a perfect ingredient for your puddings, shakes, parfaits, smoothies and salads. Rich in fiber and antioxidants, these seeds help in working as natural laxatives, which improves digestion and strengthens metabolism.

🥗Sprouts -

Sprouts are a plant-based protein sources that are also loaded with dietary fiber.

They help improve satiety, keep you from binge eating, and add to the daily protein requirement. Sprouts are extremely low in calories,100 g of sprouts contains just 30 kcal of energy so they are a great snacking option too.

🧈Soy Tofu -
